Coronavirus Update
In the wake of this Covid-19 outbreak and the recent declaration of Georgia being under a public health state of emergency, we are doing what we need to ensure the safety of all of our patients and our community.
At this time, due to concerns of how exponentially this virus is spreading, we believe that it is in the best interest and safety of all our patients to move all appointments to telepsychiatry (video conference) sessions. We will be using a HIPPA compliant platform, which can be accessed via your phone or computer with a reliable Internet connection and video camera. We are following recommendations and practices of many physicians and fellow psychiatrists throughout the state and country. All appointments starting Monday March 23rd will be done through telepscyhiatry. Prior to your scheduled appointment, please go to this link www.drdanareid.com/telepsychiatry so you can get set up for your first telepsychiatry session. You will find detailed instructions on this site on how to get set up. You will first need to electronically sign a consent form, which is available on this site. Please take some time to do this before your appointment. so that you can have the full appointment time for you. Thank you for patience during this time. We are working hard to make this transition as smooth as we can for all of our patients. We want to ensure that we are still able to provide you with the best care and support during this time. Also, please call us if you have questions/concerns. Dr. Reid |
