Dr. Reid graduated with Honors from the University of Georgia. She obtained her medical education from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Blacksburg, VA. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Reid is double board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for both Children and Adults. In addition to her highly specialized psychotherapy training in both residency and fellowship, Dr. Reid pursued additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in Houston, TX. Dr. Reid's specific areas of interest are in the treatment of anxiety, mood disorders and ADHD. Dr. Reid has sought additional training during her fellowship in college mental health and has worked with college students at the counseling centers at both Georgia State University and Oxford College of Emory University. She enjoys working with adolescents and young adults as they transition to college and during the college years. Dr. Reid has published articles and presented both locally and nationally in areas related to cultural psychiatry, cyberbullying and the impact of social media on the mental health of adolescents. Dr. Reid has also appeared on CNN's HLN (Headline News) network where she had the opportunity to speak about social media and the impacts it can potentially have on self-esteem. Dr. Reid also published her first children's book, "Danny Doesn't Quit" in 2022 which can be found on Amazon. She is an active member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Georgia Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Reid sees patients Monday - Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. |

Dr. Gonzales resides in Jacksonville, FL and is licensed in both Georgia and Florida. All appointments offered through her will be through Telepsychiatry sessions. She sees patients on Fridays.
Dr. Gonzales is board certified in both Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. She has a masters degree in psychology and obtained her medical education from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). She completed her general residency and child & adolescent fellowship at Medical College of Georgia, where she served as chief resident.
She has additional experience working in inpatient hospitals, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and community mental health settings. Dr. Gonzales partners with patients to provide individualized and compassionate care. She utilizes motivational interviewing, a whole- person focus and medication management to help nurture resiliency and good overall health. |
