I am a child psychiatrist and mom of 2. The idea for this book came to me as I was watching my son on the baseball field during his first season playing baseball. It is a story about believing in yourself and not giving up even when things feel hard. I wrote it to inspire kids and show them what may be possible if they don't give up.
